I already know that I should know better but i just hate doing legs.

With that said.

I havent been doing legs for close to 7 months now. I have only been working upper body.

Because of my travels during the rest of the year I wont be able to start BP until mid Jan.

From now til then i will contihue with my routine but want to add some leg work.

I have been reading a lot on the forum today and i haven't found a pre BP workout.
Any comments and recommendations would be helpful.

A 5 x 5 protocol isn't a bad start and will serve you will. The volume, intensity etc. are nothing compared to some of the work you'll do when we get going full blast but if nothing else... you'll gain some valuable experience for cruise.

MOST IMPORTANT: If you're going to squat, it'll allow you to establish good form and give you a gauge as to your strength levels there. Once you exploit them you're going to GROW to love them too.

Difficult to imagine now, but stick with it. They will do incredible things for you!! Welcome home...

Do some box squats there brother, great way to develop solid technique for free squatting

if you don't have a box, stack a few plated to the appropriate height!

Yes, excellent suggestion Big.Jaz! Here's a video to assist:

Notice how he sits BACK and down and the associated rocking type motion. This is what you're gunning for....

Highly recommended yes. It works quite well for most but as always, I'll leave that up to you.

We frequently see guys reporting additional lbs of LBM despite dialing back the calories, performance supps etc..
