Famine Day 1-3 Thoughts and Observations.

So Far So Good. Day 3 of famine and other than my legs being sore from Day 1 still, everything is fine. I have been eating a little less than 1600 calories a day and I dont feel really hungry. Maybe its cause I like green apples a bunch. I will be doing the second workout of famine today. I have been eating like less than 20 grams of protein per day. My RHR was 84 on Thursday but today it was 60, I went down in RHR. Maybe its because I had duty and only had 4 hours of uncomfortable sleep last night and when I got home I slept for an additional 3 hours and took my RHR. Diet consist of instant oatmeal, Trader Joes breakfast bars, spring salad, naked acai fruit smoothie, very little chicken, green apples, oranges, Trader Joes lemonade and iced tea mix, some rice, and grapes. :-)

Workout on Day 1 was good. Squats 315 for 6 reps, Cables Rows 225 for 6 reps, Barbell Curls 85 for 5 reps, Reverse Curls 45 for 6 reps, Hammer Curls 25 pounds for 6 reps.

BTW, I love Trader Joes.

For Iphone users, if you can, buy the Livestrong App so it is easier to track calories throughout the day. Livestrong is the easiest and most convenient app to use both on your computer and phone. They have the largest database of food you can think of.

Feel like im losing weight, my gf says I look smaller.

Kudos to Rob, Cheers

Thanks :D

Welcome aboard man!!

Glad you like it here and I'm right here for you. ONE request please... PM me the name you bought under at paypal and the month you bought.

Please don't take that the wrong way. I spend a LOT of time on these boards answering questions. I'm doing this to protect YOUR investment in The BP.

Hope you understand...

Have you lost 1lb/day or thereabouts and/or seen your RHR increase anywhere close to 8BPM? Alternatively, do you curse my name frequently during Famine??

Any combination or even just one of the first two and you get a pass on workout #3 :)

Im down a little more than 5 pounds, my HR has fluctuated a bit. Today my workout was brutal. Very Brutal. My third workout was supposed to be tomorrow but I went ahead and did it today since Monday's are normally a busy day for me at work.

Squat 155 x 10/T-Bar Rows 45 x 10
Squat 135 x 10/T-Bar Rows 45 x 10 (exhausted after this set, but I push on)

BB Curl 40 x 12
Reverse Curl 40 x 8
Preacher Curl 40 x 8
BB Curl 40 x 9
DB Hammer Curl 15 X 7

dead tired after this workout, cant wait for feast.

Felt very good today to eat normally again. I found it hard though to really stuff my self though. But I did manage to make my stomach feel full though. I got a sample of some berries and cream from mass pro and all I have to say is man, that stuff taste good. Ordered the case this morning. :-)

Feast Workout 3

DB Chest Press 120 X 3
DB Pullover 80 x 5

Squats. 315 x 5
Deadlifts 225 x 6

EDT
150x6leg press x 4 sets
 70x6 leg curl x 4 sets

210x6 leg press x 2 sets
130x6 leg curl x 2 sets

Total Time 72 reps in 16 min.
EDT sets felt really light, should have gone up in weight.

Rack Pull Static Holds
315 x20 sec
335 x15 sec
355 x10 sec

Workout felt good. Had to do DB Chest Presses due to benches being used. I feel better performing regular deadlifts instead of stiff leg deadlifts, just feel I get more out of it.

Not to content with my EDT sets due to weight being to low and not feeling the burm afterwards. This my first time doing Rack Pulls so I will see what that does to me. Other than that, CHEERS!!!

Great work man!!

Totally natural to be feeling your way around the EDT weights now. You'll find it... :)
