Had another interesting one today...roughly 25-30 year old female came into the store and was with her friend. As her friend made her payment, she looked at me and said "I am going to have to keep my comment to myself about what I want to say". So I asked her what she was wanting to say, and she said "I was wanting to know if you have ever considered opening your own escort service?" I laughed and said no, and asked who I would hire to be my escorts, and she said "You!"
I think what bothers me more than anything is that I feel like I am being treated like a piece of meat almost, and the blatant sexual nature of many of the comments...it would be one thing if they would say something like "You are really cute" or something like that, but almost all of the comments are blatantly sexual. On Monday, a female around the same age came in and started rubbing my upper arms and shoulders, and I asked her why she was doing that, and she just looked at me and smiled. Then the store manager told her we would drop off stuff later on(it was a set of lamps, so one person could do it easily), and she said that she didn't just want anyone to drop off the lamps, she wanted me to drop off the lamps. I laughed and told her she just wanted me to drop them off because she wanted to rub my shoulders some more, to which she responded "No, I am going to be rubbing a lot more than that when you come over..."
On Wednesday, I picked my daughter up from pre-school, and as we were getting her jacket and bookbag, the Mom of a kid in her class(a MILF---bigtime) asked me if I worked out, and I told her I did, but why did she ask? And she told me I looked like I did and that she thought I had really sexy shoulders, and went onto to make sure and mention her "ex-husband" several times in the conversation...then as we left, she turned around and kept looking back at me in the parking lot...
I am just gonna have to learn to live with it I guess, but it is really surprising how this has ramped up from zero to 60 in a span of like 3 or 4 months...my wife basically blames me for it because she said I am getting too muscular and its becoming very noticeable and that she wants me to stop lifting so much because I am big enough...
I guess that might be the best validation of your program Rob...my wife wants me to stop because she tells me I am getting too big...hahaha
