No biggie missing reps. It's a bit iffy giving you x amount of reps with x amount of weight -- people react differently with it. As long as you put 100% into it, I'm sure you'll grow and won't have any regrets in the end. Keep truckin' :).

its amazing how much of lifting is psychological, i actually read something once that said lie to yourself, tell yourself its less weight and you have lifted it before, and this is nothing... just another set on another day ;)
I get this mindset with spotters. It's like a switch flips in my noggin and I go into beast mode; especially with the younger folks.
