Development of EDT blocks

Post by hah2110 »

So my current EDTs are 6,5,4,3,MAX reps. My question is what the difference is in how you setup the rep scheme. That is a total of 18 + max reps. What is the difference of doing it that way as opposed to 9 + 9, for example?

Just curious

None. Your baseline reps with a given weight is important, not however many reps you get.

Your challenge now is to beat that rep total. You can go about this by doing more early, more later in the EDT block or more by adding a set and shortening the rest periods (not really advised).

BEST solution: Try to do more early when energy is highest, cruise during the middle and rep out at that end. It works for me!

Hope that makes sense. Some guys try for just ONE more rep at the end after starting that last set a bit early. Many ways to go about it but you'll find it. PM me if further guidance is needed!
