Nice work and HR is increasing just as it should be.

If you're posting elsewhere... use your judgement. I just don't want to give any details away for free given what you all invested. Speak in general terms... that's fine. Specifics on sets/reps diet and the like... not good. That being said, BP is hard to reverse engineer :)

First day of feast! Woohoo!!

Had some liver tabs, aminos, steak, and eggs for breakfast this morning, along with 4 pieces WW toast. And let me tell you, what a satisfying breakfast it was :D

Taking the next 3 days off to recuperate and feed.

Question: I plan to add dead lift and military press to the GLP when I do that. Is there anyway to incorporate those 2 lifts into the 5 day high intensity program without slowing it down too much? Otherwise how do I determine GLP numbers if I don't know my max?

That alot to bite off adding them to the loading pattern workouts.

Rather, consider adding them into your EDT blocks. You'll still see a nice boost and you can use them in that format during both the workouts 1-5 bridge and GLP phases..

Workout one down! It felt awesome to lift again. What a crazy workout it was too.

Squats - 390 X 8 (PR)

Bench - 270 X 7

EDT Block

Dead lift w/DB Skull Crusher
230, 230, 230, 250, 250, 250 X 6
35 X 6 X 6

Kind of surprised I hit all the reps in my EDT block. I'll adjust my weights for next time. And I must say that I'm destroyed today. Everything is sore lol

Going to keep cals at 4,000 for now and protein at 300-350.

Wow. New PR first workout. That's a GREAT sign..

One suggestion, rather than upping the weight on those EDT blocks.. just shoot for more reps. You'll probably progress faster that way. Just an idea.

Otherwise, great going out of the gate!

Actually, what I meant was, whatever # of total reps you got with your last EDT block.... use the same weights and try to get more total reps.

Here's what I'm seeing:

Dead lift w/DB Skull Crusher
230, 230, 230, 250, 250, 250 X 6
35 X 6 X 6

On DL, you did 36 total reps (6 sets of 6 reps) with weights of 230, 230, 230, 250 and 250

On Skullcrushers, you did a total of 36 total reps (6x6) with 35lbs.

Now I just have a few comments...

Since the first EDT session went so well and you noted you were strong on such, I agree you'll need to set a new baseline with new weights.

Try to stick with the same weight to use on each set and just focus on gettting a good baseline # of reps next workout. It's much easier to keep track of say, working with 240lbs on the DL for those 6 sets than adding weight the last 2. Once that's cemented it just becomes a game of upping the reps each time you repeat that EDT block!

You're early enough on in your run to re-establish an EDT block to work with, so by all means let me know and I can help you do that. With a new PR SQ already under your belt just 1 workout in, this has the makings of a FANTASTIC run.

Great work!

Big thongs happening on the Blueprint! Took an extra day off because I was still a bit sore in the lower back and hamstring areas. It paid off baby!!

I hit 410 X 8 on squats, a big PR!! (old pr 410 X 6)
Bench was 290 X 4 (pr is 290 X 5)

EDT Block:

Dead lift - 260 X 6 X 6
DB Skullz - 40 X 6 X 6

I guess I'm going up again next time lol

Upper body is a little weaker than I expected, but my legs are terrific! Calves and legs feel strong.

Toning calories down a bit. 3500 on workout days, 3000 on off. Weight is 249 this morning. Up 5.5 (net) pounds from the beginning of famine and 13 pounds from the end of famine.
