Curcumin (TQ) attenuates fluoride induced neurotoxicity

Curcumin as found in TranQuilogen attenuates fluoride induced neurotoxicity

It seems the chemical Fluoride is found everywhere these days, from toothpaste with warning labels stating "Contact poison control if ingested", to city supplied water, to non-stick cooking pans, antibiotics, the list goes on and on.

Fluoride is a known neurotoxin and banned in many parts of the world. It has been shown to lower IQ and to calcify the pineal gland, traditionally called "the third eye" and "center of the soul". Fluoride is said to have been first studied and used in drinking water given in Nazi concentration camps, to in effect chemically lobotomize their captives into complacency.

Within fluoridated regions of the United States, concerned citizens are are now organizing vocal campaigns to outlaw it's use in municipal drinking water.

Now comes a new study in Pharmacognosy Magazine, "Curcumin attenuates neurotoxicity induced by fluoride: An in vivo evidence" which publishes experimental findings that support prior studies showing fluoride is indeed a brain-damaging substance.

More noteworthy perhaps, is the revealing of a natural protective agent, Curcumin, to guard against the damaging health effects associated with Fluoride.

Here's the published findings- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3969660/

Amazing, thanks for sharing John...

It's part of the reason why Curc is the #1 ingredient in Tranquilogen, though not the only one. You don't need much either, and after loading a bottle at 2-3 a day, you can use it "as needed" thereafter.

mo curc powers

Discussion … more curc powers… no intention of diminishing the thrust of the op link - but for a long time now, I’ve chosen to avoid and/or remove those particular fluoride compounds from water, foods and products and provide plenty of iodines ( rather than use up ‘curc-powers’ to mitigate the ravages of inorganic fluoride compounds. )
One good ‘health first’ place to send those curc powers might be to help deal with Advanced Glycation End Products which tend to form in any protein(/carb) source that is heated above ~ 120 deg F.
…Receptor for AGEs (RAGE) mediates effects of AGEs and is associated with increased oxidative stress, cell growth and inflammation. The phytochemical curcumin inhibits the activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs), the major effectors during hepatic fibrogenesis. The aim of this study was to explore the underlying mechanisms of curcumin in the elimination of the stimulating effects of AGEs on the activation of HSCs. We hypothesize that curcumin eliminates the effects of AGEs by suppressing gene expression of RAGE.…Curcumin suppressed gene expression of RAGE by elevating the activity of PPARγ and attenuating oxidative stress, leading to the elimination of the AGE effects on the activation of HSCs. …

(btw, the article is rather diabetes-centric, but still is relevant to Advanced Glycation End Products risks … bcse bb’rs often trigger extreme “blood sugar” etc swings, are at risk of cumulative ‘cross link’ etc recovery/rebuilding, …etc. etc…
Generally … 1/3 AGE’s are excreted normally, 2/3 stay ie find ‘receptors’ throughout the body and stick...
