From cutting to Famine phase

Post by HITsoldier »

Is the famine phase still necessary If im going from low cals into the blueprint?

Been dieting for 16weeks now. I'm having a 5 day refeed, then press on for another 4weeks and then im calling it quits with the cut.

I want to start The Blueprint immediately after.

Thoughts on best move?

I didnt want to make another thread but have another Q.

I have a 6 day holiday coming up soon. I can do 2 different things.

Get in my 5 first workouts, right before i leave for the holiday (i wont be rushing them.. they slot in)

Do not train the 6 days on the break

then start the German loading phase as soon as i return.

I can train on the holiday, but wanted to know if the week off was a no no? I do plan to stick to my diet and not pig out too much, i will also be relaxing (not a crazy holiday)

ThoughtS?

PS: also I do train HIT, so 6 days rest isnt uncommon for me. I know some people find it weird, and feel "off" or week when resting that long. I do not.

id train the 5 days before you go, stay on your diet on the 6 days off at the least and then come back and train.. the period of time immediately after famine I feel is where ALOT of growth occurs.. for ME anyways.

Rob is in the hospital right now. I think he should be getting out fairly soon though.
