Feast Workout/GLP Mods

Post by beefcake66 »

Has anyone done something that's not completely by the book that they found to work out well for them??

I'm halfway through my first full run and I'll be starting my second immediately after, and I'm looking to focus on my Deadlifts and Squats mainly, and I'd also like to get my Shoulder Press and Bench Press up as well...

I'm not sure how to go about doin this... any ideas?

The BP is pretty forgiving, the general philosophy is that early in the run growth is gained thru over loading a muscle group. Based on this it should translate over well that by hammering your shoulders, or focusing on squats (especially early on) during feast will see you add in those areas.

Keep in mind however that that from a wholistic standpoint, dont ignore the basics, the big core lifts will help you make a systematic increase in your auxiliary lifts

I'm following GST right now which is 4 totally different workout days in a cycle (which is usually 8 days or so)... I just feel like I should be hammering bodyparts more frequently while during feast, which is why I'm lookin for other ideas (and I don't want to do just squat and bench.)
