It appears to me that the body would react differently if you crammed in 3000 calories at 6AM or even at 10PM at night, rather than balancing out 500 calories over the day. It appears to me that digestion would play a factor in getting nutrients in an effective manner, energy for the day, and keepin...

No, you should be looking to increase weight every workout...sometimes it ends up being some pretty sizable increases...20 lbs or more..more weight + less rest=higher intensity which leads to big time muscle growth...dont worry if it doesnt happen right away, it will soon enough I am assuming I wil...

Macronutrition vs. Nutrition Timing?

Hi guys/gals, It seems to me that the new catch phrase is "it doesn't matter when you eat your macros (carbs, protein, fat), just as long as it is by the end of the day". I see problems with downing 2000-3000 calories in one sitting to get your marcros in, rather than balancing them. The o...

Well, I bought the UO from John @ bodybuildingsupplements.com. I wish I could tell you the positives from it alone, but I am taking other supplements. However, I can tell you that the quality appears to be top-notch and the orange taste isn't bad at all.

Upping the weight while reducing the rest periods is asking a lot, but if you feel up to it... try! Hopefully by now, you feel "The Formula" has improved your recovery. I know it does for virtually everyone, and hoping you find the same. On the AN, I'm betting you're sleeping like a baby ...

Thanks renman for the thoughts. Alright, second workout was today. All rep ranges were 5 reps with 3 minutes of rest between supersets, unless noted. Workout Two (Tuesday): Two Static Holds (Decline Weighted Crunches - 60 lb dumbell at my chest) EDT Block 1 -Bench Press (245 lbs x 5 sets, assistance...

I had the same bowel movement issues for the last couple days of famine, then 24 hours after feast started. Those were because of two different diet changes, but have been find ever since.

I would call it completely normal.

So my first question that I got to thinking about today: With the decreased rest periods between sets next week (2 minutes compared to 3 minutes), should that be my ONLY adjustment to my workout, or should I possibly add a bit of weight, while maintaining the decreased rest period? Of course, this i...

You are right Rob, I am ready to go! I had my first workout today. It was quite a humbling experience, especially the big compound moves in EDT Block 1. Two Static Holds (Powerband Sidepressure/Backpressure) EDT Block 1 -Deadlift (225 lbs x 4 sets, + 1 set at 175 lbs on the last set) -Squats...

Yoked - Do you have any particular brands of "raw goat milk" I could give a shot? How would you rank the taste of it compared to "regular milk"?

I am a BIG fan of "regular" milk. For what it is worth, I have been drinking milk heavily for the last 15 years and have never broken a bone, playing sports or doing something athletic every year. I take that back - I did break my little toe once, but that is what happens when 250 lbs come...
