the fat content is high because of macadamia nuts (my favorite).

you could lower the oil, but there is a risk that the bar will be too dry. i'd be pleased if people want to play around and get back to me with results.

You're not the only one. I'm comfortable with the weight, but will do that recommendation of adding 5 pounds and seeing if I can manage to have enough depth. If I can, I'll add 5 pounds more. Have only been squatting with barbell for about 6 months so I'm no expert. Looking back, squatting in the s...

granola bar - ideal for feast

hey guys, i normally lurk, but i thought that you might all find this granola bar recipe useful. the idea was to have a snack/breakfast bar that was high in healthy fats, protein, and good carbs. it's based on a grand hyatt recipe, then tweaked to get the numbers right. granola bar: item weight (gra...

What are your guys thoughts on the transdermal DHEA recipe (mainly DHEA + Penetrate) vs something like Dermacrine, which seems to have worked great for some people? I haven't calculated the costs yet, but I am guessing the DHEA+Penetrate mixture is a whole lot cheaper per dose... thoughts on benefi...

james' first blueprint run (3.0)

this will be my first blueprint run. I got blueprint 2 back in february, but due to surgery, holidays (got engaged, so that was a bit stressful. actually it's still stressful, organising a wedding), and illness, i haven't had a chance to start yet. I have had 8 weeks off from the gym, so i'm going t...

whey or casein?

There IS merit to a hydrolyzed whey IMO BUT, please consider the following: One example.. when you hydrolyze a protein you destroy ALL growth factors. That's just one (of many). You do gain in other areas with a 100% hydrolyzed. Final call: Try BOTH to see which work best for you! EDIT: When Dr. Co...

i'm in the same position - i'm in australia, and pure karbolyn is not possible to get here unless i want to spend a lot of money for it!

i was thinking of either using dextrose or maltodextrin, or a mix of those two and some waxy maize starch.

are there any other opinions on this?
