Excuse my stupidity, but peri-workout implies during the workout, right? How can I get an extra 300ish calories in the form of a drink? Also, what about the Krealkylyn caps you mention in the book? I currently have some micronized creatine. Would I not be using any recovery drink or protein powder? ...

I'm going to ask what may be an absurdly stupid question but how is it physiologically possible to gain large amounts of mass if I'm eating at 100% of maintenance... Wouldn't I need to eat over maintenance? As you may know from previous posts, I'd rather gain 5 lbs of lean muscle and burn fat (getti...

OK man here we go :) Ok so three day break is coming. A few questions: 1- when does calorie shifting come into play? A. Day 4. 100% of maintenance on workout days, 70% on non-training days. 2- which supplements besides krealkalyn and a vitamin are crucial for my goals knowing that I'm on a tight bu...

Candy craving are normal, feeling "satisfied" is not. No worries, continue on as per the recommendations... I'm definitely not "satisfied" but I'm certainly not as hungry as I was the first day. If I've been over calories, no way it has been more than 100-150 above the recommend...

Ok. 3rd day of famine and did the 2nd workout today. This workout was a killer! Now, I don't think my calories have fluctuated that much between the 3 days but I feel less hungry today than I did yesterday. Is this normal? Is my body trying to adjust or am I eating too much? I want my candy (my swee...

Sorry - still confused I'm confused. You said that I shouldn't be shooting for complete muscle failure for famine and then you linked me to a thread where you said the opposite and I posted the excerpt showing that. Also, you say there are multiple sets, and I wanted to clarify I don't repeat any bi...

Famine workouts are not one set to failure. Please see the following: https://bodybuildingsupplements.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=377 You're not training to failure in Famine. Far from it. You ARE depleting muscle glycogen and all substrates therein. If if was feast you were talking about, check thi...

Cool... Okay. And so should I be shooting for absolutely max weight since it is only one set? Should I shoot for 6 or 8? That will change the weight I use. It is crazy to me that one set is enough.
