OK Rob, thanks. I'll see what I can fit in. I have some Z+M tabs from a while ago, guess I could take those, I stopped taking them before due to some medication I was on and it may of conflicted with it, so I decided to stop. I have stopped taking that medication so I guess I can start ZM again, was...

Well I usually only buy local free range meat products. Chicken, Beef and Pork Sausages mainly. I don't shop in supermarkets, I only shop in local farm shops/grocery stores. Rarely go into town for shopping. I was only wondering about cheap chicken as I eat a hell of a lot of it, gets pricey. I am h...

OK I can only see some details which differ to what I did, but here's my take on this situation. This here isn't in my log but it is what I did and it paid off nicely, I know it may seem to be a lot of warm up and resting but I didn't want a lack of warming up to be the cause of a missed PR. Note: I...

The programme suggests you do 5 rep max for pullovers and Deadlifts. I however, did Bench, Squat and Deadlift. I didn't g...

Well that sounds like a bit of bro-science to me. I mean it wouldn't matter too much if you ate the equivalent calories from a quality protein source from food, calories are calories. Other than the food would more likely fill you up more, I know it does to me. I always thought that you couldn't dro...

Chicken!

OK so I've been buying free range chicken breasts, works out about £2-£2.50 per breast. (About $3-$3.50) Though I was wondering about peoples opinions on non free range frozen chicken breasts with added water. They're a lot cheaper, I don't care about taste, you can always mask that. I always weigh ...

askmass, that was an interesting read, I read the first link you posted and skimmed through the 2nd. Thank you. Assuming everything said is 100% true, I don't see how other companies can carry on selling their products if they know the proteins are damaged in the heat process. I guess its just adver...

£33.95 = $49.24 £16.95 = $24.58 £44.95 = $65.20 I got this response asking a question. "Our whey protein comes from sweet whey which is a co-product of the cheese manufacturing process. The point about whey protein derived directly from skim milk is that it will undergo one less pasteurisation ...

Nice discussion happening here, good to see. Ok, so after a little looking into the protein I currently use. I am waiting back on an email about one other. Says they use Cross-Flow Micro-filtration. One or two of their products but I am looking into some products such as: Undenatured Impact Whey Iso...

What are your thoughts on 100% Hydrolysed Whey Protein?

Some random info on said product:

"The molecular weight is greater than 7000 dalton 20% max.
The Degree of Hydrolysis (DH) is 13%."

Apparently is has a much better absorption rate but at the cost of a bitter taste.

The thing about non cold processed protein is that its denatured.WHich means its almost useless. At least thats what I got from it. And I dont think protein should be considered as protein is protein.1g=1g. Lets see what MASS and Rob have to say. I always assumed if you consumed say eg: 50g of prot...
