I do tend to get at least a little sore after my famine workouts, which is significant because I pretty much do not get sore at all during feast or cruise. I wouldn't worry too much. Your diet and workouts appear to be spot on, and the most important part of famine is the lack of protein. I think yo...

I have Multistix and have never seen anything above a trace of protein excretion in my multiple tests during 3 different famines. I think my Multistix may be defective, because I have certainly smelled the difference in my urine during day 4/5 of famine, and noticed a cloudiness to the urine at the ...

Preface: This post is sort of an almost off topic anecdotal plug of the products … it’s not really on topic about stacking and runs... Rob if there's a better thread for this feel free to just move it :) yesterday afternoon, I blew out my shoulder / rotator cuff / etc. … sharp, more than casual, pa...

Actually no you couldn't, unless you are a rat. I talked to my dad and wanted to share his feedback. He's now been taking Synthagen for a week and a half. He said he hadn't noticed any difference in how he felt, really, but he did have some blood sugar results to share. He was diagnosed as pre-diabetic recently, so he started tracking his blood s...

I gave my not-quite-senior 55-year-old father a bottle of MPS to try. He's been taking it about a week now, 3 caps 3 times a day before meals. I haven't talked to him about it in a few days but only 3 days into it he did mention that he was working out in the heat all day and the heat wasn't botheri...

Day 5 of Famine - Multistix/Heart Rate
Hey guys, I'm starting my second BP run. I'm on day 5 of famine, my resting heart rate was only up 4 bpm this morning. I just tested my urine with Multistix after my workout and it's showing only a trace of protein excretion. I haven't tested it each day, so this measurement is all I have to go by. ...
